The iPad 2 will also be available at select Apple Authorized resellers. Apple announced that that iMovie and GarageBand for iPad are available in the App Store for $4.99 each from today. Total Lunar Eclipse On December 20The coming Monday is a special day because a total eclipse of the moon will be visible throughout North and Central America from 11:41 p.m. PST Monday until 12:53 a.m. Tuesday. The day is special because this is the first such eclipse in almost three years. The moon will enter the Earth's inner shadow, or umbra, at 10:33 p.m., and the sky will get darker as the shadow progresses across the moon. If the weather will be clear, then the sky buffs will be able to watch this whole process. Russian Soyuz TMA-20 Rocket Blasts Off Into SpaceA Russian Soyuz rocket yesterday blasted off from Russian-leased Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. The Soyuz TMA-20 rocket, carrying a crew of three to the International Space Station, took off in the night sky at 10:09 pm Moscow time (1909 GMT). The crew is made up of one Russian, an Italian and an American.
