Apple Begins New iPod Touch 4G Shipment Process

Apple has started the shipping process of its latest iPod touch. Numerous reports from US and UK have been revealed on Twitter that the customers who preordered the iPod have been sent the new device. Some of them have received the delivery date of the iPod from Apple whereas some customers are told to be patient and wait for shipping of the new device.

Apple has declared that the new iPod will be taking five to seven business days to ship. Customers who have preordered the new device earlier are likely to get the new Apple iPod touch 4G soon.

The iPod Touch users will be enjoying the new device which is coming with the Apple’s new iPhone OS 4.1. The new iPod is packed with the features like Apple’s Retina Display, two built-in cameras, Apple’s A4 chip, 720p HD video recording, Face Time video calling, a 3-axis gyro and iOS 4.1 with Game Center. The iPod Touch is still following its family line by retaining its original design of the iPod.

"We’ve put our most advanced technology inside the new iPod touch", said Steve Jobs. "Whether you’re listening to music, playing games, making Face Time video calls, browsing the web, capturing HD video, or watching TV shows and movies, the new iPod touch with its Retina display, A4 chip and 3-axis gyro is more fun than ever".

Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple says that, “A lot of people call it an iPhone without the phone. It's also an iPhone without a contract.” The new iPod Touch can be called as an iPhone 4 that consist of a novel design. Apple seems to accentuate the difference between a mobile phone and a portable media player.
