It seems that the earlier lukewarm response to Motorola Droid 2 is now changing to outright appreciation. Most Verizon Droid 2 reviews are positive and added to that the Boy Genius Report saying that the Droid 2 has the lowest smartphone return rate at Verizon Wireless, definitely sounds good for Droid 2.
The Droid 2, was released in the U.S. last month. The Android smartphone runs Google’s Android 2.2 OS, boasts of superfast Web browsing and Adobe Flash 10.1, sports an improved QWERTY keyboard and has 3G Mobile HotSpot capabilities.
You must be wondering what about the reports of dropped calls on Droid 2. Yes, as we all know that initially there were many complaints on blogs about Droid 2 signal loss. If we have to quote, from Endgadget to Mobile Crunch, all reported experiencing the signal loss problem.
But the current situation is that there are no complaints in this regard. So it appears that the issue was either blown out of proportion or it was restricted to a few handsets or maybe it was quietly fixed by Motorola or Verizon. BGR says that infact Motorola Droid 2 is one of the lowest call drop rate smatphone on Verizon Wireless.
If that is true then Motorola and Verizon must have heaved a sigh of relief for having saved themselves from the iPhone 4 antennagate like situation.
