Speculations and rumors about Verizon iPhone and white iPhone 4 release have been going on for some time. What we need to understand is why Apple is in no hurry to release the 2 much coveted iPhone variants. The logical explanation seems to be that Apple does not need to, at least for the time being.
Its no secret that iPhone 4 has been an unprecedented success in terms of sales figures. It continues to be much in demand even today. So much so that That there is a 3 week waiting period before you can get a new iPhone 4 if you order.
Under such circumstances, why Apple would want to bring 2 more highly desired variants (read iPhone on Verizon and white iPhone 4), when it is unable to keep up with the demand for the current iPhone 4?
But still, chances of the White iPhone being released soon seem much more than the Verizon iPhone till now. Apple seems to be waiting until they fix their antenna problems till the White iPhone comes out as they don't want to experience the same problem they had at the time of Black iPhone 4 release.
Only time will tell if Steve Jobs will end their exclusivity deal with AT&T. Many customers have been frustrated over no other carrier options. Verizon iPhone will be a perfect solution to their network problems but Apple may go with other options such as Sprint and T-Mobile.
Both these handsets will create a hysteria in the smartphone market and only god and Apple executives know why these handsets aren't available till now. Chances are high to see the Verizon iPhone and the White iPhone 4 until next year.
