The wait for Verizon iPhone and white iPhone 4 is getting excruciating now. The rumors about iPhone coming to Verizon have been around since iPhone came into being but nothing has materialized yet. This time however there is a stronger buzz, as many trusted and credible newspapers and tech magazines are saying that iPhone on Verizon network is coming.
While Apple itself said that white iPhone 4 is coming late this year, so there is no doubt about its release, the Verizon iPhone is a different ball game all-together. The latest reports peg CDMA version of iPhone (on Verizon) release in January 2011, beginning with a Bloomberg report.
There are also some who are hopeful of its release before the year ends, but chances are very bleak. Coming to white iPhone 4, the reasons cited for the delay are basically 2: first, Apple is trying to fix the iPhone 4 antenna issue before rolling out the white model and second, Apple is having some difficulties in the manufacturing process of white iPhone.
It seems logical to believe that Apple would like to sort out the antenna issue before bringing out either white iPhone 4 or Verizon iPhone. That further strengthens the idea that we should expect Verizon iPhone by early next year than some time this year.
So I am thinking, Verizon iPhone in early 2011 and white iPhone 4, maybe by end of year.
