Oyster.com has a good article showing some of the best minibars, in their opinion, in New York City. They mostly cover what’s included in each minibar with such great hotels as The Plaza and The Gansevoort Meatpacking District. They don’t cover some of the cool innovations going on outside the minibar and the integration with the furniture and look of the overall room.
For example check out these custom minibars from Innovative Hospitality Concepts. A pink minibar?! That would be great for a hotel room dressed in pink, but how many of those hotels are out there? However, I could see this red beauty appearing in Las Vegas hotel though or maybe The W Union Square.
